MCSD: Application Lifecycle Management

Today I passed Exam 70-496: Administering Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2012, which makes me an MCSD in Application Lifecycle Management

This was a replacement for the expired (for purposes of Microsoft Partner) TFS 2010 exam. I wish I could’ve taken a 2013 exam, but right now 2012 is all that’s available.

The exam focuses on the following topics:

  • Install and configure Team Foundation Server (25%)
  • Manage Team Foundation Server (26%)
  • Customize Team Foundation Server for team use (24%)
  • Administer version control (25%)
