Azure Cloud DevCamp – Tampa with @devfish

Tomorrow, November 20th, I will be speaking at Azure Cloud DevCamp event at the Microsoft Tampa office.

Microsoft Cloud DevCamp

This is a fantastic event. I presented at the Fort Lauderdale stop a few weeks ago and had a blast doing so.

My session will cover Data (SQL, Blob, Big Data w/ HD Insight).  Come and learn how to leverage the cloud for all your data needs and much more!

Not only is this a  completely free event but we can hang out all day with the famous DevFish – Joe Healy, what could be better than that?

What am I going to learn?
At this Cloud DevCamp you will learn how to use the new Microsoft Azure features and services including Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines, Websites, and Visual Studio 2013 to build and move a variety of apps to the cloud. You will see how to build websites, mobile applications, and enterprise-class applications.
A Cloud DevCamp is a great place to get started with Microsoft Azure development or to learn what’s new with the latest Microsoft Azure features.  Developers of all languages are welcome. With Microsoft Azure, you can use practically any language, framework, or tool to build or move existing applications to the cloud.
We will start with the basics and build up to more advanced topics. Instructor-led, hands-on labs will focus on:

· Microsoft Azure Websites and Virtual Machines Using ASP.NET & Microsoft SQL Server

· Deploying Cloud Services in Microsoft Azure

· Exploring Microsoft Azure Storage for Microsoft Visual Studio 2013
